Shri Mahendra H. Singhi hails f rom business community, born and brought up in Hubli, Karnataka. From his childhood, his ardent desire has been to serve the Humanity, ir respective of caste, colour, creed, and to accomplish the social cause. In his young age, he has built a larger than life-person through his dedication and indefatigable service to the people of Karnataka, which has brought him to the forefront in every section of society. His exemplar y character is a guidance and inspiration to the present day youths.

Shri Mahendra H. Singhi was on historical and holy ‘Padayatra (Walk)’ from Hubli to kuladevata ‘Sonana Khetlaji’ at Falna, Dist. Pali, Rajasthan, walking for a period of 65 days, commencing from 2nd Feb. 05 , covering a total distance of 1960 Kms. in 4 States, viz. Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Rajasthan. This holy yatra was successfully completed spreading the message of Peace, Communal harmony, Ahimsa, Brotherhood of mankind, throughout the yatra. This is one of his unique achievements and also the only person from Southern India who has per formed such a lengthy padayatra.

He is managing various social institutions as President/Secretary etc., and Member of various Government Committees. The details of such institutions are given below

AWARD:
Recipient of “Karnataka Rajyothsava Award, 2021”, the 2nd most important award of Govt. of Karnataka as President of All India Jain Youth Federation’s Mahaveer Limb Center, for rendering outstanding service for the cause of physically challenged. This prestigious award was conferred by Government of Karnataka on Karnataka Rajyothsava Day by the hands of Shri Basavaraj Bommaiji, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka, on 1st November 2021, at Bengaluru.

II. SOCIAL ORGANISATIONS:

1. PRESIDENT: All India Jain Youth Federation’s Mahaveer Limb Centre, Hubli- Pioneer in star ting the only Free Ar tificial Limb Centre named ‘Mahaveer Limbs Center’, at KIMS Premises, Vidyanagar, Hubli. This is the only centre in entire Nor th Karnataka, which is providing Free Jaipur ar tificial limbs / calipers to the physically challenged brethren. As on date, more than 48,000 limbs have been provided, and also conducted 280 Camps at various places in North Karnataka, including the neighboring States of Maharashtra, Goa & Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana. He is the champion for the cause of rehabilitating physically challenged brethren
2. TRUSTEE & FORMER CHAIRMAN: Shree Siddharoodha Swami Math Trust Committee, Hubli. (One of the most pious pilgrim centers of Nor th Karnataka) Instr umental to name Hubli Railway Station as “ShreeSiddharoodha Swamy Railway Station” Hubballi.
