QUALIFICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP

Any individual, partnership firm, joint stock company, body corporate, co-operative or other society, association or institution engaged in and having principal place of business, trade, commerce and industry and regional chambers or associations of commerce and industry in the State of Karnataka shall be eligible for admission as a Member of the Chamber in their respective names.

Member shall be a dealer holding registration certificate under the KVAT Act, 2003, or GST Act or any other statutory modifications there from the time being inforce shall also have Permanent Account Number under the Income Tax Act, 1961 or under the Direct Tax Code or any other statutory modification thereof for the time being in force shall be applicable.

QUALIFICATION FOR ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP

Any individual, joint stock company, body corporate, co-operative or other society, association or institution not engaged in business, trade, commerce and industry but engaged in promotion of business, trade, commerce, industry, agriculture, technology or education related thereto and regional chambers of commerce and industry and having principal office in the State of Karnataka shall be eligible for admission as an Associate Member of the Chamber in their respective names.

Any association of professionals such as Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries, Cost Accountants, registered tax practitioners, computer hardware, software and other consultants, having principal office in the State of Karnataka for rendering service to business, trade, commerce and industry shall be eligible for admission as an Associate Member of the Chamber.
