Shri Ashok S. Gadad, A Mechanical Engineering graduate from 1988 -89 batch of B V B College Of Engineering and Technology, Hubballi. A native of Hubballi since birth on 2nd Sep 1965, He is an first generation entrepreneur, into Tyre retreading service industry and new tyre sales since 25 years. After an brief experience as design and development engineer for 3 years in engineering consultancy in Bombay and as Plant engineer for 2 years in an medium scale process industry at Hubballi, he setup his own enterprise at Hubli, styled as “Ultra tuff cold retreads P Ltd” who are Franchisee/ Dealer for J K Treads and INDAG, who are pioneers in retreading technology. As Managing Director of the above company, he also has a proprietary concern M/s Amulya associate, which is into trading of engineering and automobile spares.

To accomplish his social commitments, he has held various positions into esteemed social entities as below:

• Centennial president of Rotary Club of Hubballi North.
• Revenue Dist. Officer Rotary Dist- 3170.
• Past President, Rotary club of Hubballi North charitable trust.
• Hon Secretary, vice president and managing committee member of North Karnataka Small scale industry for 2 terms each.
• Hon. Secretary of Karnataka Material Testing Lab and Research Centre, Hubballi for 5 years.
• Two terms Managing Committee member for KCC&I, Hubballi,  Jt. Hon. Secretary for 2017-2019 and presently  Hon. Secretary for 2019-21.
• Two terms Managing Council member, Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association, Bangalore
• Member, KASSIA credit co-op Society, Bangalore.
• Mason, Masonic lodge No. 44, Hubballi.
• Member, Indian Red Cross society, Hubballi.

He is married to Dr. Bharathi Gadad, Sr. Resident Doctor at S D M Medical College, Dharwad. He is blessed with two children Amulya and Amogh.
